Pre Master
Students who hold a diploma or higher diploma at undergraduate level and wish to study for a bachelor degree normally need credit transfer to allow them to receive recognition for their previous Diploma/higher Diploma study. Most students with higher diploma or diploma at undergraduate levels have to do between 2-3 years top-up to earn a bachelor degree then continue to study for additional 1 to 2 extra years to earn master degree. We can explore every possible option to provide the best possible bachelor and master degree option for those students to ensure they come out with the best education and qualification outcome. We have a lot of experience in placing students with such qualifications and in fact we have agreed with some of the top-tier universities to consider those kinds of students for credit transfer and allow them to do a top up bachelor degree. This is something they have never done before and they are now happy to do for students coming through UniAdmission.
We have come to understand that the UAE Ministry of Higher Education will accredit a master degree for students who hold only the Diploma/Higher Diploma so long as they have successfully completed a recognised pre-master programme. We can provide students with a package offer which included a pre-master and a master all in less than 2 years. Some of the universities we represent will guarantee diploma/higher diploma student a place on their master degree conditional on successful completion of the 8-month pre-master programme. Some students with a bachelor degree might also benefit from taking the pre-master programme. For example students who have lower GPA, not high enough to secure a place directly on the master degree or those who want to do a master degree in a specialisation different to that of their bachelor degree specialisation, the pre-master will act as a bridging programme. Students tend to do better in their master degree following completing a pre-master programme.
