International Student Admissions Test (ISAT)
ISAT is a three hour multiple choice test which assesses the student’s critical reasoning and quantitative reasoning and knowledge. Australian universities use the ISAT test results to help the MBBS admissions team with the selection of international students into the MBBS program.
Austalian universities medical schools have access to the ISAT test results which include a percentile for critical reasoning and quantitative reasoning. The scores are converted by MBBS admissions team to a standard score and students who have met the minimum standard score are then contacted for an interview. The minimum standard score could vary slightly from year to year depending on the pool of applicants and number of international places available on the medical degree or the dentistry degree.
