Why should you provide this information?
It is important to complete all fields in our online application form. This information is essential requirement by universities and colleges as it will allow them to process your application quickly. Lack of information on the application form will result in delays in processing your application and in many cases could result in your application being rejected. In addition writing your contact details accurately means we can reach you by email or phone to send you updates on your application progress and offer progress. We will also send you information about universities, colleges, new courses and other things related to your study and the service we provide to support you.

To receive emails from us more effectively, please add us to your "Contacts" (i.e. Address Book, Buddy List, etc.). Our email address is ask@joinuni.com.

Why do I need to complete the online application form?
We will use the information you provide in our online application form to complete the application process on your behalf and with your consent.

Why should I provide my email address and personal details?
We will use your email address to send you regular updates and feedback on your application status. We also use it to send your offer letter and other related documents. We will from time to time send information to inform you of new services or programmes and related news. Your personal information is a requirement on the application forms sent to universities/colleges.

Do I have to do anything to make sure I am receiving the email you send?
Yes. To receive emails from us more effectively, please add us to your "Contacts" (i.e. Address Book, Buddy List, etc.). Our email address is ask@joinuni.com.

Why is there a star sign (*) next to some of the fields?
These are mandatory fields which must be completed. We require these fields because they're essential requirement in order for us to process your application.

What happens if I did not fill in the fields with the star?
IF you don't complete any of the mandatory fields the application form will not be saved and submitted when you click the 'Submit' button.

Why am I being asked to upload a picture?
A picture can be required for some applications and when applying it helps identify the correct person when matching passport copy to the person applying.

Does the picture have to be high resolution?
The picture you choose to upload doesn't have to be high resolution as long as it is clear enough. But you can upload a high resolution picture if you wish but not to exceed 2 MB in size. The picture needs to be passport size photograph.

What kind of image file should the picture be?
You can add images saved in GIF, JPEG, BMP or TIFF formats

What happens after I have completed the online application form?
You information will be securely and confidentially saved on our database until we receive your full documents. Once we have received your full documents one of our counsellors will check the information you provided on the online application and check your documents. If your documents are complete and the information you provided on the form is satisfactory we will start the application process

How can I track my application status?
When you complete our online application form ensure that you enter your primary email and choose a password which you can remember at all times. You will need to use your email address and password to log into your private page on our website where you will find ample of useful information including which universities/colleges we have submitted your application to as well as the progress and status of your application with each of those universities/colleges.

I live in the United Kingdom am I eligible to pay the UK course fee?
You are entitled to pay the UK course fee if you are "settled"* in the UK (excluding the Channel Islands and Isle of Man) on the first day of your course and you have been ordinarily resident in the UK (excluding Channel islands and Isle of Man) for the 3 years prior to the course start date.

What is the personal photo compliance?
Tip: Don't post images that don't belong to you or copyrighted or trademarked material (i.e. Celebrities or cartoon Celebrities or photos that don't belong to you). Don't send photos that show nudity, violence or sexually explicit material. Don't submit blurry photos or photos that need to be rotated and finally don't submit photos that include contact information. Also Chose a photo that shows your face clearly.

What is the maximum size of the photo
When you add a photo ensure that the file size does not exceed 2 MB

If you are temporarily and unavoidably working outside the UK for a period of less than 3 years you will still be classified as ordinarily resident in the UK and therefore eligible to pay UK course fees.

If you are a member of the British Armed Forces or a UK diplomat using a BFPO address while you are resident outside of the UK you can pay UK course fees during your time outside the UK. If you work for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and were appointed to your post whilst resident within the UK and are currently working abroad and using a BFPO address then you will also be eligible to pay the UK course fees if you have not been resident outside the UK for more than 3 years.

If you are ordinarily resident in the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man then you are not eligible to pay UK course fees.

*Normally and lawfully resided in the UK from choice without any immigration restriction on the length of your stay in the UK.
