Academic Certificates
Academic certificates are issued by the school, college or university on office wall-paper certificate which normally stamped and signed. Students who wish to apply to a diploma or bachelor degree need to submit the final high school certificate or the 12th grade certificate, be it IB, A-Level or Thanawaia. Students who are applying to a postgraduate degree such as a master's degree or PhD or USMLE will need to submit both the high school certificate as well as their undergraduate degree certificate such as a diploma certificate or Bachelor degree certificate.
Academic transcript
An academic transcript is an official document which is issued by the university or college and states a list of course and subjects taken along with the score for each subject or course and states the total score by semester and academic year. In addition it states the completion date, graduation date and is signed by the university or college. This is required only from students who want to do postgraduate study such as a master's degree or a PhD and medical graduates who want to do the USMLE preparation course.
Recommendation letters
A recommendation letter is a written reference designed to offer information about the student's character academic abilities and work ethic. Letter of recommendations are essential requirement by universities and colleges and must be submitted. Students who wish to study an undergraduate degree such as diploma or bachelor degree need to submit one recommendation letter while students wishing to apply to a postgraduate degree such as master degree or PhD need to submit a minimum of 2 recommendation letters. Academic letters written by an academic tutor or professor are preferred to professional or work recommendations, however in some cases some universities will accept profession or work recommendation in place of an academic recommendation
Financial Guarantee
for those who have a scholarship the financial guarantee letter must come from the scholarship provider or the sponsor who is sponsoring your study. Self financed students must provide evidence that they have sufficient funds to cover the cost f their study and their living expenses and are normally asked to provide a bank statement to show enough funds to cover the tuition fees and living expenses for a minimum of one year. If a relative or friend is paying the cost of your study you will need to ask them to provide their bank statement and a sponsorship letter.
Evidence of proficiency in English
The required level of proficiency can best be demonstrated by the IELTS or TOEFL test, which must have been administered within the last two years. In exceptional circumstances, a TOEFL/IELTS waiver may be granted but it is up to the applicant to request this and to demonstrate sufficient grounds for consideration. A TOEFL/IELTS waiver (exemption) will be considered only in cases where the applicant has taken the majority of his/her undergraduate and graduate education in an English-speaking institution. The student must submit a formal letter from their university or college stating that the teaching was in the medium of English.
Passport copy
A copy of your passport is an essential requirement to ensure that the student's details on the issued letter of acceptance as well as the visa letter match those on the student's passport.
